The Acting Minister of Higher Education gives a speech at a large gathering of officials, lecturers and students at Kandahar University

During his official visit to Kandahar province, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Honorable Sheikh ul Hadith Mawlavi Nida Mohammad Nadeem, delivered a speech at a large gathering of officials, lecturers and students at Kandahar University. The gathering was also attended by the Director of Education for Kandahar, the Deputy Chairman of the Scholars' Council, the Director of the Ibrahim al-Nakhai Religious University, and other religious scholars and elders.

In his speech, the Acting Minister of Higher Education discussed the importance and value of the Islamic system, human dignity, and its responsibilities, as well as the virtue of knowledge. He emphasized that the Islamic system protects human dignity. He said, "Human dignity is preserved in the worship and servitude of Allah; however, when a person disobeys Allah, they lose their dignity within Islam and the Islamic community."

He further added that the law of the Islamic system is the book of Allah, and it leads humans to success in both worldly and hereafter. The Acting Minister of Higher Education also stated that every Muslim should acquire modern education in their field while preserving the value of religious knowledge. He urged the lecturers and officials to increase their efforts in the proper upbringing of the country’s students.

Furthermore, the chancellor of Kandahar University and the Deputy Chairman of the Kandahar Scholars' Council spoke about the need for both religious and modern education, and urged the lecturers to make more efforts in the proper education and training of the young people entrusted to them.
