The Acting Minister of Higher Education meets with the Ambassador of Japan

During the meeting, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh ul Hadith Mawlavi Nida Mohammad Nadeem, expressed gratitude for Japan’s assistance and cooperation in various areas, particularly in the treatment of drug addicts and addressing the challenges faced by migrants. He also discussed the contradictory policies of the international community toward the Islamic Emirate.

Honorable minister stated that while the international community proclaims support and cooperation with Afghanistan on one hand, it threatens to prosecute the leaders of the Islamic Emirate on the other.

Alongside expressing appreciation for international aid, the acting minister emphasized that religion, Islamic Sharia, and the will of the people are the primary priorities of the Islamic Emirate.

Referring to recent developments in higher education within the country, he stated that the Ministry of Higher Education is committed to delivering high-quality religious and modern education, as well as conducting standard research that aligns with religious and national values and meets the needs of society.

In response, the Ambassador of Japan reaffirmed his country’s continued support and assistance in Afghanistan and expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the Islamic Emirate in various sectors.

The ambassador also praised the management of returning migrants from Pakistan and Iran.
