The ceremony was attended by the Ministers of Higher Education, Information and Culture, and Water and Energy, the Deputy Governor of Kabul, members of the Ulema Council, heads of central universities, the leadership of Kabul University, academic staff, graduating students, and their family members.
A message from Amir-ul-Mu’minin, may Allah preserve and protect him, was read at the ceremony, offering important recommendations to the lecturers and students. 
In his message, he said that our honour, dignity, and progress lie in the religion of Allah Almighty, and that we must firmly believe in and practice Islam under all circumstances. 
In addition, he stated that the Islamic system came through jihad, urging the preservation of its legacy so that it may serve as an example for future generations and its spirit be passed on. He also emphasized the supremacy of Islam in the present era.
In his message, Amir-ul-Mu’minin, may Allah preserve and protect him, highlighted the high status of teachers in Islam and urged them to provide students with proper religious, intellectual, moral, academic, and professional education, promote unity, and build good character. He also urged students to uphold Islamic values and Sharia rulings, remain committed to their faith, respect their parents and teachers, and practice piety, sincerity, honesty, and trustworthiness. 
Minister of Higher Education Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Neda Mohammad Nadeem also spoke about the importance of knowledge and told the graduates that Allah Almighty has honored them through knowledge. He urged those whose families can afford it to pursue master’s and doctoral studies, and those who cannot to work in their fields, but not to leave the country. 
He assured the graduates that the IEA is working to create job opportunities for them and that efforts are underway in this regard. 
He also encouraged the graduates to pay attention to their faith, conduct, and morals, perform righteous deeds based on sound Islamic beliefs, and embody the noble character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). 
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Information and Culture Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani said that young people should use their knowledge, energy, and strength to seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty, set high goals, and live in a way that benefits themselves, their families, society, and the system.
Similarly, Minister of Water and Energy Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada told the graduates that the country needs them and called on them to develop their skills and help reduce the country’s reliance on foreign expertise. He also pledged to employ the top five graduates of Kabul University’s 1405 academic year in his ministry. 
At the ceremony, Kabul Deputy Governor Mawlawi Abdul Ali Qudratullah Amini and the chancellor of Kabul University Dr. Osama Aziz also provided important guidance and recommendations to the graduates. 
It should be noted that in (2026), around 2,500 students graduated from 22 faculties and 80 departments of Kabul University and were prepared to serve society.
