Information Technology Training Report at Ministry of Higher Education
Here on improvement of knowledge and technology, Invent of Computers, it need to human make over information expanding day by day. Information technology is the use of computers and software to manage information in organizations, the information technology department of a large company or organization would be responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary, and later retrieving information as necessary. Information technology is not the cause of the changes we are living through. But without new information and communication technologies none of what is changing our lives would be possible.
Every day, people use computers in new ways. Computers are increasingly affordable, they continue to be more powerful as information-processing tools as well as easier to use.
The Development of Information Technology is changing the Working Environment of government, Organizations, & management. The development of information technology is widely reflected in all society and respond only request of individuals, the sections of computers is only to connect us to the world.
Using of computers sectors recently increased in the world and frequently, and most of organizations take action to do something about network.
Therefore the construction of relationship between all Universities in country and relationship between students and universities is very important to make.
Hereby the Information Technology department of Ministry of Higher Education set up 17 days several training for improvement of knowledge of technical staff who works as IT supervisors in universities as Network Administration, Website Administration & GLP Administration.
This training has started from 20 December 2009, in Information Technology training center who Mr.Salim Saay the head of Information Technology & IT staff was present the opening of this training. And Mr.Saay spook about importance & value of these training. The participants of this training was from Kabul, Bamian, Ghazni, Paktia, Nangarhar, Heart, Mazar-e- Sharif and Baghlan universities. The participants were learning from 09 AM till 04 PM daily. The first 10 days of training that was about Network Administration belong to Concept of Network, Type of Network, Device of Network,IP Address, Active Directory, DHCP Server, Endian Fire wall, & UNIX.
At the final participants was able to make Campus Network with its Security.
From 31st December 2009 till 6th January 2010 the training was about website that had belong about WAMP Installation, Localization of Web site, Designing and Developing Universities Website, Uploading Web site.
The participants studied these programs, which they can make, design and develop a website and solve such as this problems in their offices.
The last day training was about GLP Administration that issues about Portal Admin Training be familiar with about GLP site, Create New Account, Ask Question and Answer to the Question.
The conclusion and closing party Dr.Mikle delegate of HEP Office, Mr.Pohand Rashiq the head of Academic Department, Mr.Salim Saay the head of Information Technology through IT Staff also participated in this party. And distribute certificates with welcoming.
